The image i picked is perfect for a kid bday (not that i have any kids in my life, but some of my friends have kids they may want it!). I coloured him with copics and cut him out with a label nestie.

My papers are PTI white, summer sun and basic grey dsp.

I used my ek sucess punch for the border. The sentiment is from SU short and sweet and the dots are from stamping bella.

Welcome to another Corrosive Challenge! I will be coming home from my cruise today! :( No worries i will have lots of pictures for ya!! :) So today's challenge at the Corrosive Challenge blog is buttons! Easy one, i know lots of us use them on our cards!

I used a Magnolia kit from my stash! I love how it looks like she is sitting under pear trees:) I coloured Tilda with copics and cut her out and sat her on some hay.

My papers are PTI white, chocolate chip, and the dsp is old SU. The sentiment is short and sweet by SU and the ribbon and buttons are also SU:)

Happy Corrosive Challenge Day! Today's challenge is a sketch by me:) Its a simple one so i hope everyone plays along.

For my card i decided to pull out an old SU set Simply Said. I inked it up with Rose Red craft ink and used some clear embossing powder on top. I then coloured the flowers with a white gel pen and put some pearls in the center. I cut it out with an oval nestie.


I used my swirls cuttlebug folder and found this dsp in my stash. The sentiment is from short and sweet by SU, it was also heat embossed and punched out with a SU punch.

Ok for todays card i used another card kit (i am trying to get rid of most of them before my new sets come in!!) Although i am not a cat person this Tilda is so cute! I am sure someone will like getting this card for new years ;)

I coloured Tilda with copics and cut her out with a nestie. My papers are PTI white, baja breeze, the rose paper came from my stash (and i didn't have enough that is why i had to use the baja breeze!) and the dsp is from the card kit. I also cut out Tilda with nesties.



I used the SU eyelet border punch and short and sweet sentiment also from SU. The ribbon, brad and buttons came from the kit:)

Hey everyone, how ya doin? Things are good here. I am done all my shopping and everything is wrapped...so what should i do with my time?? Oh i know...i should make some cards ;) I really need some bday cards for work...so here i go!! I really should be making manly cards, but girlie cards are too much fun!!

This is a card kit (trying to use them up since i have more coming in! yikes!). I coloured tilda with copics, and placed her on some nesties. I used a spica glitter pen on her cherries and accented with a white gel pen.

The papers are Lovely Lilac, PTI white and the dsp came from the kit (i think its CTMH)

I found some matching prima flowers in my stash and added some bella bon bons to the middle of them. I also found some ribbon in my stash and finished it off with Short and Sweet by SU.

Today i have some easy xmas cards! :) I needed a few more for work, and they are for guys, and guys usually don't care about cards, so i didn't put a lot of effort into them! ha ha

The stamps are from Inkadinkado, and Su short and sweet. I used nesties to punch them out and SU word window punch for the senitment. I also coloured them with copics.


My papers are whisper white, real red, and SU dsp.

Pretty easy:)

Hey everyone:) how ya doing? I know 2 posts in one day?? lol I usually only get to make cards on my days off, and well today is one of them.

For my card today i pulled out another Magnolia card kit, i like it, the colours are awesome! I coloured Tilda with copics and cut her out with a nestie.

My papers are Always Artichoke, more mustard, SU dsp and dsp from the kit.


The sunflower cut outs came in the kit, i added some SU buttons in the middle. The ribbon also came in the kit.

I finished off the card with short and sweet by su and punched it out with a SU punch.

Hey:) How is everyone doing? Its Thanksgiving here in Canada. I am off so i am doing some crafting:)

I used another card kit i had. I coloured Tilda with copics and cut her out and placed her on some paper i cut out with nesties.

My papers came from the card kit, so did the ribbon and snowflake brads. I added some bling from my stash in the middle of them







I finished off the card with some ribbon from the kit and the sentiment is short and sweet from SU that i punched with a tag.

I am entering this card in the Just Magnolia, Magnolia Down Under, Design Dollies and the sketch and stash challenge:)

So...i wanted to make some easy Christmas cards to have more in my stash..you know some people just don't care about Christmas cards??

So i started with the layout, i used Whisper white, real red and some SU dsp.

I found some ribbon in my stash that was pretty. Then i realized i have no Christmas stamps...ugh...i do have a set of Taylored Expressions cuppies Christmas but i didn't think they would look right on this card.

So i stamped the short and sweet sentiment in versamark and heat embossed it. I finished off the card with some pearls...i actually like how it turned out. I made 4 like this, each with different embellishments. This one is my fave though:)

I am slowly catching up...only 3 more months til Christmas!! yikes!!!!!

Hey everyone:) I am on the Christmas card kick again...i really need to catch up! I realized i don't have a lot of Christmas stamps! Yikes! So i am turning stamps into Christmas stamps! lol

This deer is from The Greeting Farm, i coloured him with copics and cut him out with nesties. I used some stickles for his red nose ;)










My papers are PTI white, real red, and SU dsp. I have a lot of Christmas paper but i don't really like much of it...but my mission is to use it all up so i can buy more next year!!

I punched out the snowflakes with my Martha Stewart punch and put some bella dots in the middle.

My sentiment is short and sweet from SU.

Hi:) I was asked to make a baby card for a friend of mine. She said it was a boy and their theme was safari. I had safari paper but no safari animals...so i went with a turtle...its an animal right?? lol

I love the turtle tots and i don't think i have inked any of the ones i have! So i inked this one up and coloured him with copics and cut him out with a nesties



My paper is PTI white, chocolate chip and safari dsp is from dcwv.

My ribbon came from my stash, the sentiment is short and sweet by SU punched out with a SU punch and some bella dots to finish it off:)

I sure hope she likes it:)

...i'm going slightly mad...

The title is kinda true! lol For my titles i use whatever song i am listening to at the moment...well today its Queen...and why am i going slightly mad? Work, work and learning songs for the 80's band...its crazy but well worth it:) So if you don't see me much you know why!


I wasn't even going to make a card today...but had an urge so here it is.

Again i used a card kit i have had forever! I coloured Changito with copics and cut him out with a nestie.


My papers are PTI white, close to cocoa and the dsp came in the kit.

The flowers came in the kit, i used some SU buttons for the middles. I finished off the card with a sentiment from Short and Sweet.

Ok i am going to see if i can get another card made for tomorrow!

Hey everyone! Sorry this post is a day late, i guess i forgot to post it for yesterday. I was camping all weekend and had a fab time (minus the sunburn! ouch!)

So this week over at the Corrosive Challenge blog its a sketch i made.






My card is pretty simple. I used Very Vanilla SU cardstock and Real red cardstock. The paper is from SU (not sure of the name)

The stamp is Heard from the Heart by SU and the snowflakes are from Short and Sweet by SU.

That is about it...easy and quick!!

Wow what a week:) It was a good week though! I did have a whole post yesterday with all these pictures from my bday party...but...i lost the post and didn't feel like doing it again! ugh...

For my card today its another Christmas card! I am trying to use images i have coloured already and a lot of them are Christmas!

I had a fantastic bday!! All of my family and friends showed up despite the crappy weather (70km winds, rain, hail, etc) and made it one of the best bdays ever:) My niece made me cupcakes with skull rings on them and black n white candles! I got a lot of Corona too ;)

Well off to make some more cards so maybe i have more posts this week:) lol

Happy Valentines Day everyone. Although i hate the holiday i hope you and your loved one are having a great day:) I purposely scheduled myself to work ;)

Today's challenge on the Corrosive Challenge Blog is sewing (real or fake). I can't sew so i went with the fake..i then got bored so i only did a line at the bottom. I am actually not feeling to hot so maybe that is why.

My card is made up of a card kit i had in my stash. (i feel like i am never going to use these all up!). The monkey is Changito from Stampendous. I coloured him with copics and cut him out with nesties.

Wow 2 Christmas cards for the year:)

I had this image printed out already from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff so i went with it. I coloured the snow people with copics and cut them out with a nestie.

My papers are PTI cream, Not Quite Navy and the dsp is from my stash.










I used some SU ribbon and the sentiment is from SU called Short & Sweet.

Happy Humble Pie day:) Todays challenge is bling! Use at least 2 different kinds:)

Its a Digi Shack Flower Challenge:)

Today at the Digi Shack we have been challenged to use one of the great Digi Shack flower images on a card! I love this image, its kinda oriental!

I also LOVE these colours together! Melon Mambo and Kiwi Kiss, they are so bright and fun!

So for my background piece of Melon Mambo i used a Quickutz embossing folder, i think i got it at Stamping Bella.

I then cut a piece of Kiwi Kiss cardstock and ran it through with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder and tied a piece of Melon Mambo ribbon around it. I have never used the hat pins from my Pretties Kit by SU so i put one together to put through the ribbon, it looks so pretty!

Next i printed the image on PTI white cardstock and coloured it with copics and the center of the flowers i used my Gelly Roll pen.

I then cut it out with nesties and layered it on a piece of Kiwi Kiss cardstock. I then put some of Taylors Tiny Twinkles all around.

To finishe off the card i used my Short and Sweet SU set and punched it out with my word window punch from SU and used one of Taylors Tiny Twinkles for the dot on the I.

Wow i used a lot of stuff from different companies on this:) And it wasn't a kit so i actually knew what i used:)

This is a crazy week for me so i hope i have enough cards to show you stuff for the week! We are having our yearly review at work today...and its ALL DAY! I think i have to work like 10 hours! ugh... Wish me luck!!

Happy Canada Day:)

Well Happy Canada Day to all my Canadian friends (and you Canadians living elsewhere!). I don't usually do much to celebrate Canada Day, things around this city are NUTS! So i usually just stay home and chill out.





I have decided to show you a Bella Card on this day because Stamping Bella is my fave Canadian company:)



My base is PTI white with Mellow Moss and some Razzleberry Lemonade DSP! I love Razzleberry, its a great purple!!

I coloured my Bitty Bloom with copics and used a bella bon bon for the center of the flower. I think this is Poppy Bittybloom, i got her in a swap:)

I cut her out with nesties and layered on a piece of mellow moss.

The green ribbon came from my stash and a layered a piece of Razzleberry on top.

The sentiment is from SU called Short and Sweet and i finished the card off with some Primas and a bella bon bon in the middle!

I am so glad Jamie is back doing sketches again! They rock:)
