HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I made this card for a challenge on the wish rak forum on SCS! I am hosting a challenge and my challenge is to make a card that your mother would like. My mom loved lilacs! Although i don't have any lilacs i thought my mom would have loved this card!! The other part of the challenge was to use so saffron, taken with teal and lovely lilac:) Hope you like it! These cards will be sent to the troops so they have cards to send home to their loved ones!!

I also used MOJO67 sketch...i will link the blog later, i can't remember it right now!!

Bella Sketch time:)

I made this card for a sketch swap i am in. I used BSC61 and BCC60. I should not make cards when i am sick...ugh...

Sick...but made some cards:)

I started getting sick on Saturday...and i haven't gotten better! So i sat at my boyfriends house yesterday and made cards! All of these cards are kits for monthly swaps i am in.

This first card is for a monthly bella card kit swap i am in! I was supplied the paper and image! I love the DSP! no idea where to get it though! lol I used BSC208 for this one:)

This kit is for a monthly card kit swap too! Isn't the tilda the sweetest?? I left the corner blank so i could add a sentiment later! I find it easier to leave my cards blank, that way they could be used for any occasion, i just need to add it:)

This last kit is my fave!!! The image is great for a man card!! I had fun colouring the truck too!! I was supplied 2 different DSP (i love the metal one!! i will be using the left overs from this one!!), a package of brads and ribbon (although i couldn't find anywhere to put the ribbon!) I used SC208 for this one:)

I am off work sick today...so i don't think i will do much:( I can colour some images while watching tv though:)

And happy holidays to all!! I don't see any stamping time until after the holidays! But look at all the fab. cards i got??? This year i got 9 hand stamped cards!! I usually only get one from Karen ;) But this year i got 9!! WOW:) They are my fave by far!! If i get more tomorrow i will have no room for them!! lol But that is a good problem to have!!
Our family tradition is simple...EAT!! Must be an italian thing;) We are going to my dads for Christmas Eve, and my sisters Christmas day. I want to try and relax but i doubt that will happen! lol I am sure my sister will put me to work!!

We got tons of snow yesterday!! I got stuck at my Boyfriends house:( I had so much to do, oh well better to be safe than sorry!! Not sure how many cards i will get done in the next couple days!! I do have to make some Christmas presents so we shall see how far it get!!

Another First!! Rubber Romance:)

This is what i do on my days off!! lol Another first!! I got the Rubber Romance image through Wish Rak on SCS, coloured her with Copics, used Stickles on the hat and bags. The colour and sketch are both challenges on SCS. The flowers are from those embelishment kits from Jessica still:)

My first Elzybells card:)

Isn't she sweet??? I got the image from Karen in her wonderful package and the buttons from Jessica my bella sistah! The paper is Basic Gray and Not Quite Navy cardstock. Bella Rose and Not Quite Navy DSP. Baja Breeze ribbon and coloured with copics:) I used a sketch and colour challenge from SCS:)

Sad day.....

Today my BIL got his lay off notice...his last day of work is Dec 24th...I am sure the factory is going to close in the new year, so at least he can get unemployment, so that is a good thing!! Well i made this card for my sister to cheer her up:) Hope she likes it!

I used the rest of the paper i had from that lovely Stamping Bella kit i got! I got the image from Wish Rak at SCS. I used copics to colour, prima flowers, buttons i got from my bella sistah and baja breeze ribbon and paper:)

Ok so the last few days have been crazy, work has been nuts and i feel like i have so much to do for christmas still (i usually start early, not this year! ugh). So i got some stuff to help me along!! This first package was from my secret santa over at SCS!! Look at all the goodies i got!!

The next package is from my former upline Karen (the one who got me addicted to stamping!!). We did a trade for some copics and stamps and she sent me all these goodies!! I got a famous Karen card and some lovely book marks!! And aren't the elzybells so cute???

This last package is from my Bella Sistah Jessica!! Man oh man look at all these goodies!! I love those little embelishment kits! they rock! And some purse cards!! wow!! Jessica has been a great sistah these last 3 months! I can't thank her enough!!!

Ok off to make some Christmas gifts! wish me luck!!!!

My first Whiff of Joy card!!!

I got these lovely images from a friend on SCS Diane!! I purchased a WOJ stamp from Phebe at the town scrapper, haven't even inked it yet! YIKES!! Well i hope you like my card! It was fun to colour (i used a colour challenge from SCS), and the layout is also a challenge!

Christmas Cans:)

I decided this year i was going to make Christmas tins for everyone at work this year! Here is a little explaination how to make them!! They are simple, but some people have asked so here it is!!



Step 1- Clean your pringles cans! I rinse them out with hot water!

Step 2- dry them with a paper towel and then i turn them upside down to make sure they are dry!

Step 3- Cut your DSP 9" X 9 1/2". This fits perfect around the tins!!

Step 4- Meet Shannon:) She helps me with all my big projects:) Put some sticky strip on the 2 sides that are 9". You can also put some on the middle for extra support!

Step 5- Wrap the paper around the can, try to line it up with the top or bottom so its even. Its takes couple tries to get it right:)

Step 6- this is what the can looks like when wrapped!

Step 7- We want to cover up the seem, so there is left over DSP right?? Look it fits exactly over it!! (i used the other side of it!)

Step 8- Now normally i would stamp, or deco with ribbon or something...but we had to make 30 of these so we keep them simple! I made ornaments from the Stampin' Up! star bright kit and attached them by the lid. I plan on filling them up with candy or something else as well!!

Also with the rest of the DSP you can make these neat ornaments!! Just cut your paper 1"X6", you will need 8 pieces of paper! Place your paper one on top of each other, each piece showing a different side (you can use as many different ones as you want, i just used 2!). Then punch a hole in the top and the bottom of the paper and place a brad in there to hold all the paper together. Then all you have to do is pull the pieces of paper apart and it makes a ball! Tie some ribbon or cord around the top and you have ornaments:)

Isn't Edwin so cute?? This is a card i made for a swap i am in, i had to put together a kit and mail it out. I hope they like my kit!! I figure we never do enough manly cards, so why not get some done!! More colouring with my copics! I really think i need to take a class!! ugh...

So for the Wed. Challenge on SBS i have asked my sisters to case a fellow sister! I can't tell you who i cased because they can get bonus ballots for finding out who i cased! My sister did a great job with her card so i had to case it!!

Tuesday Stamping Part 2!!

I have a problem with putting too many pictures on here!! so here are the next 2 cards i made!!

This first one is another kit card! All this stuff i got in my kit! I was trying something different! SInce i don't have the circle nesties i had to use my coluzzle...and i didn't like the way it matted so i tried something new...turned out ok i guess.

This was the last card i made today. The last of the kits as well!! Just simple and cute! This bella is adorable!!

Well i guess that is it for today! My shopping trip to Buffalo went well...guess how much money i spent on stamping supplies? ...ZERO DOLLARS!!! crazy eh?? I don't think i have mentioned it but i saw on someones blog that they were on a stamping diet...well now i am!! I think i have more than enough stuff to stamp with for at least 6 months...yes i said 6 months!! The only thing i am allowing myself to buy is SU paper, and adhesive!! So far so good! I have one more order coming from Stamping Bella that i ordered in Nov....and then the mail will stop coming!!! :( sniff sniff!!

Ok i am off Thursday so i will try to get some more stamping done! I have to make some Christmas tins for work...25 of them actually...i will have to call my niece! lol

Since Tuesday is usually my day off i have called it stamping tuesday!! I did a bunch of cards today!! But first here is what a won from Chris' blog candy!! COOL eh??

I already used a prima on one of my cards! the colours match SU colours!! woo hoo!!

This card was made in honour of my bella sistah Jessica!! This month we had to case one of her cards! I just changed the colours because i got all this stuff in a bella swap kit!! I decided today to use them all so i would have more room!! lol

This card was made for the Bella Colour challenge and the bella sketch challenge!! I would never have even thought to put these colours together!!

I made 2 more card but they will go in another post!!!

Its beginning to look a lot like....

CHRISTMAS:) yay we had our first real snow fall last night and its so pretty outside (wasn't fun driving to work in this morning though!) Anyway i still had some paper left from that bella card kit and had to make some Magnolia cards for a swap on the yahoo group so here they are:) I adore this paper and must find out where it came from!!!

The Bella card i made while the Bella bash was on and i had no idea what was going on!! My sister decided she needed to hook up some crap on the computer so i had no internet all night! But guess what...it fits the challenge of 2's:)

I am off to Buffalo NY tomorrow to pick up my TAC order and do some shopping...wish me luck!!

Oh my...i got this image from someone and the poor horse was screaming my name...so i had to make a card!! lol The paper wasn't copic friendly but it looks like the little horse is fuzzy!! :) I got the layout from my friend Karen i think its a challenge sketch or something! anyway i had to try it!!

Wed. SBS Challenge #9!!

yes ladies its a day early but i have to drive my BF's parents to Toronto after work tomorrow for a Neil Diamond concert! Ugh...so again you have an extra day to play:)

This challenge should help eveyone out!! Do you have Scraps?? I have a big container of them!! So i challenged myself to make a card (or 3 lol) using only scraps!! I had some Christmas images so i decided to use them up so they don't have to sit around a whole year!!

The first card is a Stamping Bella card using an image i got in a swap! My sister told me i couldn't use it because my copics had bled through onto it...well can you tell?? I thought not!

Covered it up with a cute flower and all is good:) So ha ha to my sister! (who knows nothing about crafting, but likes to give me advice! lol) This is also for BSC57 i think:) I am not a fan of circles but it worked for this card:) Thanks Jamie for the great sketch again!!!

The next card is another Bella image i got from a bella swap (i only have one more pre-stamped now!) I am sad this is my last Daisyboardabella, but i had to use her up! This card is a little strange!!! lol You see it had the arrows in there already so i went with it. Put a peice of paper behind it and thought it would work...not too sure now. I tried my best to make it work though!

And this last card...ummmm i got this image in a swap also, i *think* its a Gina K stamp?? not too sure though! It is cute though! Kinda big so i did a tent topper card! I also ran out of Real Red paper scraps so i used DSP for the matting:)

Ok i am off to bowling tonight so i don't think i have time to make another card!! I will post when i get back from Toronto, wish me luck! My BF's mother is a little stressful!! Maybe i will have some beer for the car ride up! lol

Its friday...but that means nothing...lol

I have to work tomorrow...so really fridays aren't special to me unless i have the weekend off (which is only once a week!). Well i got tons of mail this week!! I got a secret santa gift (can't open it until christmas though!), lots of swaps, paper, etc. Anyway one thing i got that i love are card kits!! They are from the Bella yahoo group and i just had to make a card using this one!! I LOVE the papers, brads, and image!! So here it is:) I am going try to stay awake for the bellaversary bash...but i am pretty tired!! maybe i will go get coffee! lol

Its December already???

Guess i should start Christmas shopping eh?? Well i got 2 gifts so far and lots to go! I did mail all my Christmas cards though so that is a bonus!! :)

I have to work today but i did manage to make one card! This is more blending with my copics!! I really need to work on doing better layouts though:( I guess that is what sketch challenges are for:)
