ORGAN DONATION SAVES LIVES!!!
Happy Tuesday everyone! I wanted to post this yesterday but i have some obligations with one of my DT's so i didn't do it. I am doing it today because this is a topic that is near and dead to my heart.
10 years ago on April 26th i donated a kidney to my mother. I am a strong believer in organ donation and this post is to raise awareness to sign your donor cards!!
The process to donating a kidney was a long one but it was an experience i would do all over again if i had to! To see my mother be able to travel again, regain energy and be generally a happier person made it all worth it in the end.
Unfortunately i lost my mom in 2005 to lung cancer, but i am so happy i gave her 5 years more to life she may not have gotten being on dialysis. She got to go to Atlantic City, she got to see me get married (and divorced! lol), she got to go to Las Vegas, got to see her grandkids grow up to awesome people. She got to live life without restrictions, and that is why i believe organ donation is so important, IT SAVES LIVES!!
This was an article that was front page of the Niagara Falls Review and this picture was taken 5 days after surgery! Doesn't my mom look amazing! :)
Although i miss her everyday i know she is still with me in all i do! :) My mom was an amazing woman, she went through a lot and fought every step of the way! I hope one day i can be that amazing:)
SIGN YOUR DONOR CARD TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HUGS:)
...on my blacklist...
Welcome to the second edition of the Victoria Case blog hop! I am not part of the blog hop but i made a card anyway!
The theme for the blog hop is Girlie:) I had to use this awesome image. I coloured her with copics and cut her out.
Next i ran a piece of cameo coral through my swirls cuttlebug folder and then distressed the edges with some chocolate chip ink.
My paper is PTI white, cameo coral, kraft and chocolate chip.
To finish off the card i used some prima flowers and some bling from my stash.
Be sure to go to the Town Scrapper to start the hop!!

...if you wanna see me, i'm easy to be found, just look for the darkest clooud and the lightening crashing down....
happy sunday!! Today at the Corrosive Challenge Blog the challenge is charms!! I really need practice with charms...it looks so ugly the way i did it!
Anyway i used a lollipop girl from Stamping Bella for my card. I went to my friend Kellie's last Sunday and used some of her stamps and we coloured for most of the afternoon. I coloured her with copics and cut her out with a nestie.
My paper is PTI white, regal rose, and my dsp is from my stash.
I finished off my card with some SU satin white ribbon, the sentiment is from SU as well (teeny tiny wishes) and the charm was in my stash.
Be sure to check out the challenge blog and see what the rest of the DT is up too:)

....i'll never let you go...
Wow i came home from work and wanted to make a card...that is odd but anyway here is my card:)
I love Hanglar and Stanglar stamps, i wish i had some but they don't sell them over here:( But my friend Chris was kind enough to send me some! :) They are so much fun to colour!
I coloured her with copics and cut her out with nesties.
My paper is PTI white, baja breeze and the dsp came from a card kit i had. I love this paper and want to know where i can get it! I haven't gotten it in a couple kits now!
I decided to use my swirl punchy thing (really not sure of the name but it comes from SU) with some bling on it. I also used bling in the corners as well (i think i bought this in Boston when i went to visit Karen!).I found some flowers in my stash that matched and the dew drops came from the kit.
I finished off the card with some SU baja breeze ribbon and the sentiment is from Crazy for Cupcakes by SU:)
Hope you had a great friday! :)

Its time for a Christmas card! I made 2 of the same because i don't think i made one last week! lol I know i am behind but i have lots of Christmas card kits and they are quick and easy!
I coloured my Christmas-tini from Stamping Bella with copics and did a couple layers with the glaze pen. I cut it out with a nestie. I only made 4.25 X 4.25 cards not realizing the image was that big.
My paper is PTI white, old olive and SU dsp.
I finished off the card with bling from my stash and the sentiment is Four the Holidays by SU!

I decided to use a Riley today since i haven't used one in forever!! I coloured Riley with copics and cut him out with nesties.
I realized i had no dsp that matched...so i used my cuttlebug folder. It looks like bubbles, so cool! (can you tell i never use my cuttlebug folders??)
My paper is PTI white, chocolate chip, and brocade blue.
My embellies are Chocolate chip ribbon, SU blue button and some bella dots to finish it off.
I really need to make more man cards, every time i go to find one i don't have one! I should also get going on my Christmas cards!! yikes!!

Its Saturday and its a long weekend and guess who is working:( Yep me...i make the schedule so you think i would give myself one day off this weekend, but no i work 5 days straight..ugh...oh well it should be busy so the time should fly!
Today's card is an invitation for my friend Crystal's baby shower. I am really glad i bought this fiskar's sweet pea stamp set, i had no baby stamp sets! yikes!
I coloured the image with a copic and cut it out with nesties. I then used the safety pins in the set as a faint boarder (i bet you can't even see it!). I then used my Hugs and Wishes set from SU for the sentiment and on the inside as well.
My paper is So Saffron, Pretty in Pink, PTI white and Bashful Blue. The dsp is from my Spring glitter stack (i have been using this a lot lately eh?).
Oh and i got my layout and inspiration from this card on SCS http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1665435. Isn't it pretty???
