A bright and cheery tuesday:)

Isn't this card bright and cheery and fun??? This was one of the first cards i made at Karens.



The paper was from Imaginisce from the Twittered collection. I loved it so much that i bought some!! :) I love the mushrooms! They are sooooooo Tilda!!



I used Mojo77 sketch for this card. The cardstock i used was regal rose, riding hood red and PTI white.

I coloured Tilda with Copics (sorry again didn't wr

ite this down!) I cut her flower out and popped it because i was thinking WWKD?? The ribbon is from the Paper Source and its called POOL, it is YUMMY ribbon!! I think i bought almost all the kinds they had!!

I cute the scallop with the SU scallop punch and cut her out with nesties...i know she looks a little tipsy! ha ha

Well tonight is inventory night...the most dredded night of the month!! ugh...wish me luck!!! Yesterday was crap...first day back to work and i am already in trouble! ...Karen take me away...lol remeber that commercial???

Taylors stamps rock:)

While i was at Karen's i got to use all her stamps and paper!! WOW she has a lot!

this card was made for TECC61, the sketch rocks! I love this little cuppie too! The one thing i learned was how she takes her pictures! So trust me i will be making my own photo studio, it was so easy!!

Oh ya the card! The paper is My Minds Eye "pretty little girl". I love the colours and it reminded me of spring/easter. I used Elegant Eggplant as my base colour. I coloured with copics and used a bella bon bon for the top.

I put a peice of dsp through the cuttlebug and it looks distressed, so cool!!

I finished off the card with some baja breeze ribbon layered with elegand eggplant and some prima flowers.

I forgot to take a picture of my copics, but i will do this from now on as well. :)

ITs Challenge Day...and time to tell ya about Boston!!

Happy Sunday everyone!! How is everyone today?? i am good...i am not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow! ugh...Oh well i will enjoy my last day stamping!!

Here is my card for the Corrosive Challenge, Christmas with animals. I got this lovely Elzybells stamp from a swap on SCS and i love it! I may have to order him (free shipping on the UK elzybells site all weekend!!)

For this card i used basic grey, whisper white and basic black cardstock. The dsp is basic grey and winter bloom (not sure the company).

I coloured the little guy with my copics and cut him out with my nesties. This was a MOJO sketch too.

Ok onto my trip!! So my purpose to visit Karen was to stamp and shop...well guess what we did all week?? STAMP AND SHOP!!! It was nice and relaxing...i didn't wanna come home! lol

The day i arrived we hung out in Boston. The only thing i really wanted to do was eat lunch at Cheers! (i have been to Boston twice before so it was no biggie for me to see all the touristy things). So here are Karen and I at Cheers!

Then we walked around the Boston Common, man its HUGE!! Karen had a brillant idea to pose like statues (because her quirky hubby likes to do this), they turned out cute!!

awwwwwwwwwww here is Shadow...he was my buddy all week:)

And Karen is gonna kill me for posting this, but i love her stamp room (i helped her clean it up a bit, but forgot to take the after pictures!!) Now who wouldn't love this room! I was in heaven all week!!!

You will see my cards all week, i think i have one for each day!!! :)

Well i am off to put all my goodies away! There is LOTS!!! But the prices are so much cheaper there!! So i had to splurge!! :)

Unity Blog Hop:)

 Here is my card for the Unity Blog Hop that Karen roped me into ;) I had fun making this card so its ok! If you are at me you have to start HERE!

For this card i used...Copics, My Minds Eye-Free Bird My Friend paper, Kiwi kiss cardstock, Gina K white for a base and chocolate chip to mount. I cut out the cone from Mix Up Of Cuteness from Unity Stamps with Nesties. To finish it off i used Bella dots and a bella bon bon for the cherry on top. 

My Fave Unity quote is... Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself. 

I am sad to be home from Karens:( But it was a blast!!! More about that tomorrow though!!!

GO Canes GO:)

For this weeks Colour Challenge on the Bella forum on SCS is to use colours from your fave. team! Well my fave hockey team are the Carolina Hurricanes. Their colours are black, red and white!

I used SC219 to start. The dsp are game night, and ummm some flower (manhatten) dsp. I coloured my bella with copics and added a few bella donuts for a finishing touch:) Pretty easy card. I may send this to my cousin whos 2 boys are hockey crazy! I am sure she looks like this at least twice a week if not more!! :)

Huggabuggs rock:)

I made this card for the huggabugg swap i am in:) This is an old sketch on SCS i think its SC210! YIKES! Its been on my desk for a while, wasen't sure how to use it...but i made it work! The dsp is from Piggy Tales. Wasn't too sure what went with it, but i guess tempting turquoise is ok with it. I used some new bella dew drops for the antenna things and there you have it:)

HOLY CRAP!! Karen has so many fun things!! I am having a great time here in Boston! I have already spent too much money, but you will love what i bought! I have made 3 cards and a sketch journal already (Karen only made 1 so far...hee hee) 

Ok onto my card... This is for Taylors Sketch Challenge. I used some pretty paper i found in Karens stash, didn't write down the name or anything though, oops.

 The cardstock is real rust and so saffron though. I coloured some white taffeta ribbon with a copic, cool eh?? This is also for the first Chicks with ink pads challenge!

Bellariffic Card:)

I actually got this done in time (but i need posts for ya so i saved it!) This was the lovely picture this week on blogabella! Not colours i would have ever thought to put together on my own! lol The colours i picked were Tangerine Tango, So saffron and certainly Celery. The dsp is basic grey and the butterfly is from Priceless. I used BSC72 for the layout, i wanted to keep it simple:) Did some paper peircing and added some orange bella bon bons:)

Its Monday...and..

I am in Boston:) I have a weeks posts for ya though!! I couldn't leave you guys without some cards to share!!

Here is my Anya card! This is my kit i put together for Chrissy's monthly kit swap. I love this DSP, its from SU i think its called sunshine morning or something to that effect. Its so bright and cheery! For cardstock i used pacific point, chocolate chip and summer sun. I also used TECC59 and it was a fun one:) This card is little 4.25 X4.25. I coloured my alice anya with copics, used some bella dots and paper pierced the bottom...look NO RIBBON! wow eh?? lol

For todays challenge over on the Corrosive Challenge Blog the theme is Under the Sea! You can make a card using any kind of water, fish etc. I saw this magnolia card kit and thought i would try it out...umm well i guess the card it ok...i feel like its missing something...oh well you tell me:)
In the kit from Chris i got the DSP, edwin, luggage, bon voyage, and rope. I wanted to try to incorporate the boat from Boat Loads of Love..meh its ok i guess...I made the sun myself (as i am sure you can tell) then afterwards realized i have a Magnolia sun i could have used! bah! Oh well its done and its here:) Head over to the blog to play along!!!

Tomorrow morning i will be on a plane heading to BOSTON!! woo hoo!!

Happy Birthday Dad:)

Today is my dads 73rd birthday (i think is 73...lol) We are having some pizza (that he is making, yummy!), and cake tonight:) He never wants to do anything for his birthday, but i think we are going to invite some of his friends over for him:)

Here is the card i made him, its simple, but he won't care! ha ha I used my punches....

Heart- heart to heart punch

spade- heart to heart punch and curly label punch (i punched it, then just punched the side of it again, cut it in half and it looks like a stem!)

diamond- i used 2 photo corners, i didn't have a small enough square

club- small heart from heart to heart, punched it 3 times and attached them together with the curly label punch again for the stem.

Other than that the card is pretty simple. I used Game Night stamp set and Jackpot dsp. The sketch came from SCS.

Here is a picture of me and my dad taken in 2006. He never likes to get his picture taken! ha ha

Only 2 more sleeps til BOSTON!!! Unfortunatly my friend Linda can't come with me:( Her dad is in the hospital so she needs to be with him. So i will be flying out instead:)

They are just so cute!!!

Really how can you not love them?? yes another card kit (are you getting bored with them yet? I'm not! lol). I love the polka dot paper! So cute!

For this one i used a Friday Sketch by Amy. For this kit i was supplied with the image, dsp, blue ribbon and the dew drops. For cardstock i used Gina K 20lb white, Tangerine Tango and Baja Breeze. I cut the circles out with my nesties (what did we do before these came out???) and sat Tilda in there. I popped some words (laugh and pretty)...i should have mounted them, oh well too late now!

Is it Christmas???

Are you sick of the Magnolias yet?? LOL Really these kits are to die for!!! This was a kit from Kathleen Curry, got a Christmas card done ;) So this kit (i forgot the picture again, shoot!) came with PTI dsp, a snowflake cuttlebug paper, clear buttons, silver cord, white ribbon and the tilda:)

I used a sketch i had on my desk from weeks ago, i think its a magnolia vs stampavie sketch actually:)

Yep you guessed it....

another card kit!! I really wanted to play with this one because Tilda is always done in pinks, purples and soft colours, i wanted to make a Tilda card with some black in it (just to be different i guess! lol) I should take a picture of all the stuff in the kit before i assemble the card...reminder for next time!! Anyway in this kit i got the image, saying, prima flowers, bella baubles, dsp, and some other little things i couldn't fit on the card.

For cardstock i used Pacific Point, baja breeze, bravo burgandy and basic black. The DSP was black (bottom strip) on one side and had this cool flower, scrip thing on the other (the circles) I believe the paper is from BoBunny Designs. I used SC216 for the base. I coloured Tilda with copics and my black spica glitter pen (for her hair and on the coat/hat). I used my oval punch and oval scallop punch to punch out the sentiment. I finished it off with some baja breeze specialty ribbon and the prima flowers:)

So what do you think of Tilda in black???

Although i am not Irish, its a good excuse to go out with my friends and have some fun!!!

I think there is a free concert at one of the bars, so i will have to check it out:)

You may have seen my card over on the challenge blog on Sunday, and you may not have...so incase you missed it here is my green card! This was a Magnolia kit i got in a swap, these kits were amazing!! I am on a kick so you will see more i am sure ;)

So i used a Sketch Challenge for this one from SCS (not sure which one..duh) In the kit i got the star paper and on the back was the words! They are so cute!! I also got dew drops, a star and the gold cord. I coloured Edwin with Copics and decided to have him sitting on one of the panels:) I love these sitting ones!! (i still don't like cutting them out though! ha ha) The colours i used are glorious green and chocolate chip to mat the paper.

Well if you are Irish have a beer for me!! :)

Regionals in London:)

We had a lot of fun this year! I think i had more fun because i had a friend come with me! This is me and my friend Linda! Linda is the whole reason i got into stamping in the first place! I went to a SU party are her house and well the rest is history:) I am *HOPING* (please hope with me!!) that Linda will sign up to be a demo, then i can go to all the SU events with a downline:)

I brought about 50 cards this year (usually i bring more, but i am cutting back). I loved all the cards i got but these are my faves!!!

Here is a close up of my top 2!! how clever?? Its 2 top notes to make a purse!

And this is so pretty! Who would have ever thought to use a jumbo eyelet for a tire??? Love it!!

Easter Tilda:)

OMG how cute is this Tilda??? This was from a Magnolia card kit swap i was in, wow i love the colours and the image is great! I did this card for the sketch over at Cute Card Thursdays. I just found this blog thanks to my friend Vanja winning some blog candy over there! Check it out, its a great blog!!

So...i got the dots dsp and the aqua paper, the tilda image, the sentiment, 3 brads, flowers and ribbon in the kit...a lot eh?? Guess what?? I used it all!! Usually i can make 2 cards per kit, but i made my card 5.5 X5.5 so it used a bit more paper. The SU colours i used were pink pirouette and riding hood red. I also love the eyelet border punch, its fab!

Elzybells challenge:)

Really i love this duck, hes so cute!! I got the image through wish rak on SCS, i think i need to buy him:) I used the sketch i found on Elzybells blog, it was a fun one:) I also used CC206 (rose red, more mustard, kiwi kiss). I used basic grey paper and some dew drops to finish it off:) I love these little 4.25 X 4.25 cards:)

Don't you love the ginger bread man?? LOL It was a punch out and i just used my white gel pen to give him life:)

o use this CTMH dsp! I love the stars! I used some SU buttons because they matched so well:) The colours are riding hood red, soft sky, very vanilla and basic black. Oh and the sketch is a SFYTT. It was a fun sketch to play with!!

Another Regional card:)

This is my next set of cards for the Regional SU seminar. I like to make my swap cards simple because i usually make a lot of them. I finally put together and inked my Just Buzzin' By set, really what was i waiting for?? this set is too cute!! The card base is kiwi kiss, and the DSP is Good Morning Sunshine. I punched out the pot with my 1 3/4 punch, and the bees with my 1" punch. I used my eyelet border punch for the bottom. Oh and i used a Verve Sketch for it:)

Regionals is on Saturday, i can't wait!! I am taking my friend Linda (it will be nice to have someone with me this time! lol). Keep your fingers crossed for me that she signs up!!! :)

My blog.....

Hi everyone...its about time i need to say something...I started this blog to connect with people, showcase my cards, and keep in touch with friends. My blog is my space and really i have it set up the way i want it set up. I have been an avid music fan for my whole life, i wouldn't want my life any other way. I have played in 3 bands, been to over 300 concerts and travelled the world to see bands. This is who i am.
There was a thread recently i saw on SCS that was about music on blogs and how annoying it is. I don't find it annoying at all when i go on someones blog and there is music playing, it helps me to see more of what they like and i always find it interesting to see what kind of music people listen to.
Why am i writing this you may ask?? I have had a few complaints about the music on MY blog. I am not going to make the music optional, simply turn your speakers off if you want to browse on MY blog, if not then don't come by, it really won't hurt my feelings. I am very proud of the music i listen to (did you know some of those bands i am friends with??) and i will not take it off MY blog....
sorry if this offended anyone but i know i won't make everyone happy, its not my intention to make everyone happy...i am here to create, and keep my friends up to date.

The ugly frog card....

lol really don't humor me...i know its ugly...what was i thinking??? I used Mojo76 for the sketch. Then i used a challenge from SCS, had to use green galore, pale plum and brocade blue (WHAT??) and a frog...ummm this was the only frog image i had!! I used some oragami kero-kerroppi paper and guess what??? It doesn't match! ROFL...i am killing myself here!! Well at least this card makes me laugh...hope it brightens your day too!! lol (yes i am still lauging!!)

Monday monday....

dah dah...well you know the song! lol I really don't but i know it says something about Monday! lol Anyway...Mondays always suck! There is so much to do at work, 100 phone calls, etc....maybe that is why i always take Tuesdays off, i need a break from mondays! ha ha

Enough work talk and onto my card! i made this card for the sketch and stash challenge blog. They always have cool layouts and you get to use stuff from your stash! woo hoo! Most of this stuff came from a card kit though (image, dsp, chocolate ribbon). I colours fluffles with copics, a spica glitter pen and stickles (angela did it, so i had to too!!). I used some bella dots in the corner and then some bashful blue ribbon because the chocolate one looked too blah! Cut out the cutie with a nestie and we are done!! I love these little square cards, they are cute!!

Well i hope your Monday is well!! :) 2 more weeks and i will be in Boston! WOO HOO:)

Another colouring page Hello Kitty! Isn't she sweet?? The dsp is from Stamping Bella but i don't know the name of it, but its pretty and sparkly!! Something about a princess maybe??
The colours are pixie pink, pretty in pink and certainly celery. I used Celery ribbon, and cute out the cutie with nesties. I used some prima flowers to finish it off, i wish i had some green pearls for inside them though:( Oh well!

Bunny kit:)

See this is why i love card kit swaps so much! I would NEVER have bought a bunny stamp, and would not have made easter cards! But now i will have some to give out this year:)

I was supplied with the image and dsp, the rest was up to me! I decided to use SC217 over on SCS for this one and just flipped it on its side.

I coloured the bunny with copics and cut him out with nesties. Used some of my fab purple primas and SU buttons and we have a card! Easy as that!!!

Its Friday!!!

so that means its bellariffc!!! :) Em's challenge was another one of these inspiration challenges! here is my card:) I used some of my new basic grey urban prairie paper, wow its awsome!! The colours are so springy and i *hope* spring is coming! It is warming up:) Oh...my card! lol I got the image from my bella sistah sarah:) I coloured her with copics and used stickles for the belt and hairband. I cut her out with my nestibilities. I finished her off with some organdy ribbon i got through wish rak and some bella frosted flatbacks:)

Well i hope you have a Bellariffic Friday....my friday consists of work...and work...:( ugh!! I have to work the weekend too!! Wish me luck!!!

Swap card for Regionals....

I had some paper cut still from Linda's SU party so i thought i would put it to good use and make some swap cards for regionals. I used the stamp set Full of Life, Delicate Dots DSP, and so saffron ribbon from SAB.

The Turtle tots are darling!!!

BAH! how cute is this??? It was so fun and easy to colour too so i whipped up this card pretty quick!!

I used BCC69 and BSC69. The Metallic paper rocks!! I got it from my bella sistah Jessica and am just using it now! Its strong, i thought it was going to be like tissue paper but its not! woo hoo!

The dsp is from CTMH, the primas came from the secret jester exchange and i used bella dots for the middle of them. I cute out the little turtle with nesties and we are done! Easy as pie...ummm well i can't make a pie, unless its McDonalds pie...which in that case is easy...whatever you get what i mean!

Bloomin Beautiful!!

This card is for one of those monthly card kit swaps (is this getting annoying yet??). I really do love them because each kit is so different and each card you get in return is so different! Crazy how you will have the same images and paper and embelishments but the card is completly different!

I used SFYTT . It fit really well! I was a bit iffy on the image, as i am not a flower kinda girl, don't really like colouring them anyway. I used my copics to colour.
