Hey:) I am back again with a non Christmas stamp! This is a Hanglar and Stanglar stamp and i think its for Valentines day! Well i made it for Christmas!! :)

I coloured her with copics and used some stickles on the heart. I then punched her out with a nestie and coloured the edge.

My paper is PTI white, rose red and the dsp is from my stash.

I finished off the card with a sentiment i found in my desk, i had to cut it a bit as it was too big...and i also found these flowers in my stash as well:)

...if only you hadn't taken things out of my hands...

Ok really you would think i loved Valentines Day...actually i HATE it! lol I guess the upside of being on DT's is i am making my friends some Valentines Day cards!! ha ha

The challenge over at Humble Pie today is to use red, pink, white and hearts.

I started with the card base, i think i got these from my blogging friend Debby. I always get confused at how to do these shaped cards.

I then punched out some hearts with the SU 3 heart punch and put them in the petals. For the middle of the flower i used some Rockabilly paper and cut it out with a circle nestie.

I coloured the couple with copics and cut them out. I finished off the card with some stickles on the hearts and her headband.

Its A Digi Shack Blog Hop!!

Hey everyone! Welcome to your stop on the Digi Shack Blog Hop! If you came here from Jana's blog you are right on track! If you didn't start at the beginning at the Digi Shack home!

We were all given 3 images to make projects with.
My first image was this stack of presents! I really wanted to use my new SU DSP Merry Moments so i used it for all my projects!

For this card I cut out a scallop nestie and placed red crystals on it from my stash (i think i got these from someone since they don't have a company on them). I then coloured my presents to match and cut them out.

My base is PTI cream with a piece of chocolate chip SU paper and some Real Red SU ribbon.

The next image i got was this tag...so i thought i would be cool to take one of my many pringles cans and get a head start on some Christmas gifts. (i make these for everyone at work every year).

So i cut the DSP 9 X 9 1/2, it fits perfect:) I then took the other side of the paper and put a strip down each middled.

I put some ink on the tag and just wrote To and From on it. I then punched a hole and tied some ribbon through it.

To finish it off i used some red stickles and made berries on the pines and around the tag.

** ADDED...you can put candy, chocolates, incense sticks, or keep it full of pringels in the can!!

The last image i got was this winter hat. I coloured it with copics and cut it out with nesties and layered it on some old olive cardstock.

My card base is PTI cream with some Real Red and more of this awsome SU paper!

I finished off the card with some old olive ribbon and some more red stickles. I still need to add a sentiment...just not sure where yet! Any ideas??

Ok that is it for me! Be sure to head on over to Joni!! I am sure she has some great projects to show everyone:)

I am also giving away one img image for 3 lucky ladies! I will do a random draw tomorrow before i head off camping!! :) GOod luck:)

Its a Bellariffic Friday:)

Todays Bellariffic sketch is by the lovely Paula! Its a great sketch and when i saw it i knew i wanted to make a Christmas card:)

So i coloured Wreathabella with copics and cut her out with nesties.

My base is PTI white with a layer of Old Olive and then some SU dsp, i think its a kit called "i wish". This was a card kit i had:)

I then made a little embelishment with a sticker a brad and a dew drop that was also in the kit.

I finished off the card with some silver stickles on the hat and boots and the sentiment is from SU called Short and Sweet:)

HOpe you have a bellariffic friday:)

Its sunday:)

Today on the Corrosive Challenge Blog i have challenged them to make a card with this sketch! The sketch is pretty simple, so i hope lots of people play along:)

Since i seem to be strapped for time lately i am really glad i have card kits to turn to! For this card i used Taylors Key Ingredients Beach Bum kit!

The image is from the Digi Shack and i was laughing so hard when i was colouring it! This card definitely puts a smile on my face:)

I coloured the Giraffe with copics and cut him out with nesties.

The buttons are SU and so are the brads. I used some bling for the centre of the flower brads, they were too plain.

The sentiment is from Stamping Bella, i thought it was perfect! lol

I finished off the card with some stickles on the edge of the nesties and in the centre of the flowers:)

Well hope you have a great Sunday!! Head over to the Challenge blog to see what everyone else is up to!!

Challenge Day!!! :)

I have a feeling this will be a long post:) So bear with me!

First off...I can't believe all the entries for the blog candy! I have already added something to it for having 100+ entries. Can't believe it!! :) By the way my Birthday is May 8th, the day i am drawing.

Next my card! I had to make a card for Mother's Day. This is hard for me every year because i lost my mom to lung cancer in 2005. I was very close to my mom, we always did stuff together, hid things from Dad together, i even gave my mom a kidney 9 years ago. I miss my mom more and more everyday, and people say its gets easier everyday...ummm i don't think it will ever get easier. My mother was a rock, she went through so much in her 63 years with us and i admire her for it. She was child #5 of 6 kids, she only finished up to grade 8 in school because she had to work to help the family. She married my dad when she was only 19 because she was pregnant with my sister. My dad was not the nicest man back then (he has learned a lot over the years though, and is a wonderful man now). She worked full time as a cook in the hospital but somehow managed to always have one meal ready for us. By the time i came around my sister was 15 and my brother was 13, can you say OOPS! lol She always told me i was the best OOPS! ha ha

My mom always smiled and laughed no matter what the situation. She always encouraged me to do what a wanted (even playing heavy metal in the house, drums none the less!) and be myself. My mom was not a fancy woman, she was a plain jane (like me) because she always told us its not whats on the outside that matters but what is on the inside.

My mom was always there for us when we were sick (she came to see me an hour after we had surgery), sad (divorce, break ups, pets dying), and angry (she could always make us laugh about it.). But the most important things were she was there for us everyday we needed her! She was amazing!! It may sound strange but i had a few dreams about my mom after she passed away, and those dreams really happen. It always gives me comfort knowing she is still there for me:)

Ok onto the card...(wipe the tears away...)

I started this card with Taylor's Sketch Challenge for the week. It was a simple sketch, perfect for my mom. I got this lovely Magnolia stamp in a card kit and she is holding lilacs (my moms fave flowers, i will never forget the day my dad took her lilac bush out...she was so mad! ha ha)
The Designer paper is unknown (came in the kit). I used a new EK sucess punch and tied it with some pretty organdy ribbon. I used the Love You sentiment from Short and Sweet and finished it off with a heart i had lying around.
I coloured Tilda with copics, used stickles on the wings and used a white gel pen for some highlights.
Well i hope you like my card, it came together pretty easy (just how my mom would have liked it) but i like the result. It has been a tradition to give my sister a card and flowers every year since my mom passed away so i think i will give her this card, she will understand why!
Hugs to you and your Moms:)

Holy Cow...Saturday Sketchers....

Here is my submission for the Saturday Sketchers Challenge:)

I started with a card kit...can you tell, i would never buy this paper! lol But it matches the Penny Black Cow perfectly!

The sketch i used was great as well! I could use all the papers i got in the kit!

The great thing about this cow is he didn't really to be coloured! I used my copics to colour what needed to be done. I then used fun flock on the cow and stickles for the hearts.

I cut him out with Nesties and added 2 layers of paper under him. The flowers and rik rac came from the kit as well as the brads:)
I had a wonderful time at the bella store with Dana, Miche, Leslie, Em and Nicky...and was i surprised when i walked in and Karen was there!!! HOLY COW!! lol Fun times were had by all and i bought more than i should have ;) Its all good though, i love everything i got! Wish i could have got more! I am hoping to head up there my bday week and do some more shopping. :) I will post pictures as soon as Karen sends them to me:)
HUGS!
