Happy Canada Day:)

Well Happy Canada Day to all my Canadian friends (and you Canadians living elsewhere!). I don't usually do much to celebrate Canada Day, things around this city are NUTS! So i usually just stay home and chill out.





I have decided to show you a Bella Card on this day because Stamping Bella is my fave Canadian company:)



My base is PTI white with Mellow Moss and some Razzleberry Lemonade DSP! I love Razzleberry, its a great purple!!

I coloured my Bitty Bloom with copics and used a bella bon bon for the center of the flower. I think this is Poppy Bittybloom, i got her in a swap:)

I cut her out with nesties and layered on a piece of mellow moss.

The green ribbon came from my stash and a layered a piece of Razzleberry on top.

The sentiment is from SU called Short and Sweet and i finished the card off with some Primas and a bella bon bon in the middle!

I am so glad Jamie is back doing sketches again! They rock:)

The greeting farm:)

I made this simple card for one of the monthly card kit swaps i am in. Its one of the last ones, then i am taking a break for the summer, although i am sure i will miss them!

My cardstock is Chocolate Chip and Regal Rose. The dsp was with the kit so i have no idea what it is.

The image is from the Greeting Farm, but i don't know the name. I coloured it with copics.

I finished off the card with some CTMH bling. I like to keep swap cards simple because i have to make 6 at a time and i don't want to much on them for mailing purposes!

Squigglefly Challenge #8!!

So todays Squigglefly challenge is to make an ATC...i haven't made one of these in years!! So i pulled out some old stuff and went to work.

I wanted to make a different ATC so i made a tag pull out one. The colours are bordering blue and brocade blue. The dsp is old SU paper (sorry don't know the name, it was a little scrap i found). I used the free Hummingbird from Squigglefly and printed him out pretty small, so small he fit in a 1 1/4 inch punch:) I layered it on a square scallop.

The Thanks is Heartfelt Thanks by SU and the little flowers is an old SU set that i only kept that stamp from so i have no idea what it is:)

I used the tab punch and some old SU organdy ribbon i got through wish rak! The button is also from SU

Oh Canada.....

Today's challenge over on the Corrosive Challenge Blog the theme is Patriotic. Make a card with the colours of your flag, or something to do with your country!

I bought this stamp from High Hopes forever ago and haven't even inked it yet! Its a really big stamp so i had to make a 5.25 X 5.25 card. This was the only nestie it would fit in too. (and some stuff got cut off, poor beaver!)

I coloured the image with copics.

For my layout i did my own and don't like it at all...ugh...i used Chocolate chip and the dsp is rockabilly by SU.

I used some Real Red ribbon and buttons and finished off the card with some SU corduroy buttons. OH and i had these photo corners left from another card so i used them too. The inside reads " greetings from Canada"

Its a Gorjuss Girl kinda day...

Ok so i have had this Gorjuss Girl coloured since i got her...and she was sitting ther collecting dust...i figured it was time to put her on a card!

I coloured her with copics and cut her out with nesties.

The dsp is mounted on Chocolate chip, the orange is My Minds Eye Bloom & Grow and the red is Rockabilly by SU.
Both were scraps on my desk, so was all the Chocolate Chip! I seem to be using a lot of it lately!





I used some bling i had lying around the sentiment is Bitty Birthday from SU.

Its a Scrappy Frogs Challenge Day!!

Well this was a tough challenge for me because i am not good with the whole pirate thing!! The challenge was to use this Pirate ship background to make a card! I decided to download the free Dragon too (because i need him for another project anyway!).

I coloured the Dragon and Background with Copics, it was fun to colour them:) I tried to make the wood look old on the deck, but i don't think it worked! lol

My colours are Green Galore and Baja Breeze. The stripped paper is from Piggy Tales.

I cut out the dragon and placed him in the middle. Oh i also used Mojo92 for this one as well!
The greeting is from the SU set On your Birthday and i punched it out with my SU punch.

I finished off the card with some corners and some bling (because every dragon needs bling right??)

For today's card i decided to use Oh So Pretty Bella! I think she would make a great Bday card for Em because the Queen is Oh So Pretty :)

The card base is certainly Celery with a piece of DSP from my stash on top.

I wrapped some white satin SU ribbon in the corners and some bella dew drops in the corners.

I coloured Bella with copics and cut her out with Nesties. This is also an old Amy sketch i found on my desk! Sorry i don't have the link or picture!!

My Second card is using Bella Cupcakes! I coloured them with copics and cut them out with nesties:) The sentiment is Bitty Birthday by SU and everything else is from Taylor's Key Ingredients Kit for June:)

Tonight we're gonna party like its 1985....

Ya i know its suppose to be 1999, but i like 1985 much better, and really doesn't this card look like it came straight outta the 80's??? Anyone have pictures with big poofy hair?? lol I am sure there are a few of me around!!

Ok so i started this card with SC233 over on SCS. I thought it would be perfect for my guitar!

I coloured the guitar with copics and used my gelly roll pen for the tuning pegs and pick ups. Then i cut it out with my nesties.

The card base is PTI white with Bermuda Bay, then some Razzleberry Lemonade DSP. I also used a piece of Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo.

I finished off the card with some Bermuda Bay ribbon and a sentiment from Stamping Bella.

Well i hope you like my card!! :) I think i will send it to one of my 80's friends for their birthday:)

Christmas Monkey Style....

Over on the sketch and stash challenge blog this is the great sketch!!





I have had this Changito monkey coloured for a while now and thought he would fit perfect with the sketch!





I coloured him with copics, a jelly roll stardust pen and some liquid applique to his hat and boots.





I used my snow dots Cuttlebug folder for the background on top of a layer of Chocolate Chip Su paper and some PTI white as a base.





The ribbon in SU chocolate chip with a layer of some ribbon from my stash on top. I layer Changito on Chocolate chip.

I used my SU Photo corner punch and put some CTHM bling on them.

The snowflakes are Martha Stewart punch with CTMH bling in the middle.

I love the colours of this card!! I sooooooo miss Cool Carribean!! SU needs to get it back!!!
