Morning everyone:) Today i have something different for ya. Its a recipe card. I joined a cookie swap and wanted to share the recipe and i didn't want to be boring...so i made a cute card.

I first typed the recipe on word and printed it out. My papers are SU vanilla, green galore and SU dsp.

The ribbon came from my stash. I used a Christmas cuppie from Taylored Expressions. I paper pieced the wrapper and coloured him with copics and put a bella bon bon on top!

Pretty easy...just took a while to do 7 with all the cutting out!! Now to bake the cookies...lol

Hey everyone:)

For todays card i pulled out my Taylored Expressions cupcake Christmas kit. I coloured him with copics and paper pieced his wrapping. I also used a bella bon bon for the holly:)

My papers are SU shimmer white, SU silver and SU dsp.









The sentiment came from some tags that were in a card kit i didn't use.

For my card i didn't have a ton of time so i went with simple. I coloured my cupcake (not sure where it came from! lol) with copics and cut it out with a nestie.

My paper is PTI white, basic black and the dsp is from my stash.

The sentiment is from SU Birthday Cheer and it was stamped with SU whisper white ink.

I finished off the card with some black pearls:)

....oh sugar sugar...

So really i was making this card going man that is a lot of pink...but i think it works:)

I started with Lindsay's cupcake with sprinkles on top. I coloured it with copics and cut it out with nesties.

I then pulled out this Taylored Expressions card kit that is all cupcakes and sweet stuff!! The ribbon and sentiment are also from the kit:)

I finished off the card with some photo corners from the kit as well:) Oh and some yellow stickles for the sprinkles:)

...sunday morning....

Morning everyone!! Wow what a week i had in Montreal!! I did a lot of eating and drinking and walking!! The McDonalds convention was good, but the rest was better ;)

Todays Challenge over at the Corrosive Challenge Blog is this sketch! I love making sketches!!

I really had no idea what to make this week, this is the only card i made!! I found these cupcakes already coloured so that took out most of the work! ha ha

I coloured the cupcakes with copics, a spica glitter pen and used my glaze pen for the tops of the cupcakes. I then cut them out with nesties.

The dsp is from CTMH and i have no idea where the purple checkered paper came from. The card base is PTI white.

I finished off the card with On Your Birthday by SU and some bling in the corner from my stash!!

First let me apologize for the crappy pictures...i think my camera is on its way out the door:( I may get a new one soon!!

Well today is Lindsay Thursday...and i discovered a cupcake stamp of hers i haven't used yet...so i just had to get back to the sweet side of stamping!! ;)

I pulled out one of Taylors Key Ingredients kits, and it was all cupcakes, how cool! There were even these pre-cut cupcakes so i just had to use one!

I covered the base with some paper from the kit and stamped the sentiment from Crazy for cupcakes on the bottom.




For the inside i used Lindsay's cupcake tree and coloured it with copics and cut it out with a nestie.

I used some ribbon and brads from Taylors kit for the top of the cupcakes and for the icing i used some liquid pearl from another one of Taylors kits!

I finished off the card with the cherry on top which is also in Taylor's kits and used a white gel pen for the highlight on the cherry!

Its a Scrappy Frogs Challenge...

and its a fun one! The Challenge this week is paper piecing! I haven't done this in a while so i went a bit nuts!





I paper pieced everything except her hair and skin. I coloured those with copics.





I then cut her out with nesties. I finished the card with some buttons and the teeny tiny wishes sentiment.

More Cupcakes!!

Aren't Lindsay's Cupcakes the greatest??? This is the last one i have printed and then i promise no more cupcakes next week! lol

I coloured my cupcake with copics and used some stickles for the sprinkles. I then cut it out with nesties.

My paper is PTI white, Cameo Coral and then a piece of Two the Nines SU dsp.

The sentiment is from Crazy for Cupcakes by SU.

I finished off the card with some SU satin ribbon and some bella frosted bon bons!

Lindsay Thursday....

Welcome to Lindsay Thursday:) I didn't think i would get a card done but i did:) yay!

So i started with the Mojo Monday sketch, i thought the cupcake would be good in the circle.

The paper is from a card kit that i didn't like the image of but i thought the paper was fun:)

I matted all the dsp with Old Olive cardstock. The sentiment is from SU called On your Birthday. I stamped it in Pretty in Pink.

I coloured the cupcake with copics and cut it out.



Pretty easy card as i didn't have a lot of time!

Cupcake Days...

I made this card for SOA challenge to use 3 buttons or more! Guess what?? I won the challenge! I get some Papertrey Ink Buttons!! woo hoo!!

This was a card kit i had, and i have realized that i am not fond of working with too much purple:(

I started out with TECC68. I coloured the image (not sure what company its from) with copics and a purple spica glitter pen.

Not sure which company the papers are from either. The yellow is So Saffron. I finished it off with my 3 buttons and the ribbon on the bottom.

Not my fave card, but it won me a prize so i should complain! lol

Stampin Out Alzheimers!!

Wow what a great idea!! My Nany Sorely (grandma) and Nany Easton (great grandma) had Alzheimers, although it wasn't really bad, it was still there. So for my card i actually did 2 challenges ( i didn't know the mojo sketch was for it! lol). The first is the sketch and the second is called 2 by 2. You have to use 2 colours (brown and pink) and 2 kinds of embelishments (but no more!)



Well since i have to make some Christmas cards for a swap i am in i decided to use my Taylored Expressions cuppies for this card.



I used PTI white and chocolate chip for my base. The patterened paper is by Dream Street papers and its called forever family.



I coloured the cuppie with copics and inked the edges with chocolate chip ink. I then found this cool pink and brown ribbon in my stash and used it. I stamped Very merry (from short and sweet SU) in chocolate chip and finished off the corners with some bling.


It was a pretty easy card! I love these cuppies!! I need to order more!!

Happy Saturday!!!

Why is it so happy you ask?? Well i have the weekend off!! I only get one a month and usually they are jam packed with a million things to do...well guess what?? I HAVE NO PLANS!! Shocking i know! lol I think my BF and i are going to the drive-in tomorrow, we will see, its suppose to be nice so i want to wash my car! I can't do too much as my foot is killing me...i have planter facioutus (i can't spell! lol) anyway its from working 9 hour shifts on hard floors for 16 years! ugh...so my physio guy Jeff is fixing me up. Really if its not one thing its another!
Ok but i am sure you don't care about my bum foot so here is my card:)

I wanted to play along with Taylors Challenge because her sketches always rock!!

So i downloaded one of Lindsay's Stamps for this challenge. Her digi images are so cute! The cupcakes are perfect for Taylor's challenges!!

I coloured the cupcake with copics and used some stickles on the icing and some crystal effects on the cherry. I used Lavender Lace SU paper and the dsp is from a kit i had but didn't like the image! lol

I cut out the image with nesties and screwed up on the scallop one, so i covered it with the banner! See no mistakes in art ;) We are good at covering them up! ha ha

I finished off the card with some cupcake ribbon i got in Boston at Michael's (because Karen has a small cupcake fetish!) and a banner.
