The challenge this week is Sympathy cards with flowers on them. I don't think i hit it, i think my card is too cheery for sympathy! Oh well its a card, and it has flowers on it! ha ha
This card was pretty easy. Its all SU (i know you are shocked! i am too!).
I used Whisper white paper, chocolate chip paper, kiwi kiss and Walk in the Park DSP.
I stamped the flowers in kiwi kiss ink. I then used some felt fusion 2 flowers with old olive brads in the center (and a rhinestone because i ran out of olive! damn!)
I tied the baja breeze ribbon on the bottom and we have a card. I kept it simple. I will put the sentiment on the inside if i want to use it as a sympathy card.
Today is also my friend Crystal's birthday! She is living in Red Deer now, but is coming home on June 19th! I can't wait:)
HUGS!
Happy Birthday to Crystal all the way from New York! And your sympathy card is just fine! It's at a time of sorrow that one needs a little bit of joy, and your card does the job!
ReplyDeleteI think it's pretty! You could say something like "Just thought I'd brighten your day" on the inside. :)

ReplyDeleteVery simple but effective
ReplyDeleteI think receiving something so cheerful as a sympathy card would be fabulous. Very pretty Janet. The young Bret is singing to me again. He just does not look the same. I think he had his lips done.
