Chick Challenge Day:)

Ahhhhhhh calgon take me away! Doesn't this make you want to go to Cuba or Mexico?? What a great challenge picture!! After my very busy easter weekend at work i could use some fun in the sun!!






So here is my card:) I started with a great card kit i got! As soon as i saw the picture i immediatly thought of it:) I used a SFYTT as my starting point.

The colours i used are Cool Carribean (man i miss this paper!), and Kiwi Kiss. The orange paper was in the kit.

I coloured my penguin with copics, and then used some stickles on the grass skirt, the colours are perfect for a grass skirt! I then stole an idea from Karen and i used some white fun flock on the white parts of the penguin:) I finished her off with a little jewel on the flower.

The flowers are from Petaloo that i bought in Boston at the paper source. The come like that for such a cheap price, how can you go wrong??

I think the rik rak is from SU (pumpkin pie i think), and i ran my kiwi cardstock through the swiss dots CB folder. I mounted the penguin on a new nestie that i love!! :) I have been dying to use them!!!
