Its Tuesday!! I am ahead of the game a bit this week! Makes me feel so much better!!

For todays card i used another Christmas card kit i had in my stash. This was hard for me because these to me aren't Christmas colours!! lol But i think i made it work!

I coloured the house mouse with copics and cut him out with a nestie


My card base is PTI white with Really Rust and the dsp from the kit.

I then used the brad from the kit and slid the ribbon through and wrapped it around the card. I then added the swirls that came in the kit.

I finished off the card with the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes (i love that set!!).

Pretty easy card again!! Most of my cards will be easy as i am pressed for time lately:(

My card base is PTI white, with some prism paper i had in my scrap bin. The dsp is from the kit as well.

The sentiment, ribbon and bling were also in the kit:)

So a pretty easy card to put together.

Too bad i don't have a boyfriend, this would be perfect to give him! Oh well i will give it to a happy couple i know:)

Happy turkey day:) Today we are having our turkey dinner today, lots of people at our house. We celebrate today so my sister can have a day of rest.

Ok enough babble...onto my card....

This was a card kit i had, and since i was a little late with my card this week i had to use a kit.

I love House Mouse but i find i have a hard time colouring them:( But i guess this turned out ok.

I coloured the little guy with copics and cut him out with a nestie.

The paper base is Gina K White with some real red and the dsp was in the kit. The ribbon, flowers and dew drops were in the kit as well.

To finish off the card i used the tab punch from the kit and stamped Wish from the Small script SU set.

Well i hope you check out the challenge blog this week, we didn't have many participants last week, i guess no one likes coffee. lol

CAS cards....

I made both of these cards for monthly card kit swaps i am in. I wanted to keep them simple for mailing purposes. Its so expensive to mail cards now a days!!

So this is SC231 over on SCS. I used Close to Cocoa as my background and the DSP came with the kit.

I coloured the mice with copics and layered them on some Pretty In Pink (i am waiting on my pink pirouette to come in!!)

Next is Nurse Nellie. I started with SC232 for this one.

I coloured her with copics and used my scallop square SU punch for the corners.

The background is Brocade Blue with a strip of the DSP that was in the kit.

The saying is a SU hostess set called Best Yet.

I finished off the card with 2 silver brads that were also in the kit.

I think i am almost caught up on my swaps!! Only a couple more to go and we are done for the summer! :)

Mojo Monday Sketch:)

Its a Mojo Monday Sketch and another card kit! This was the April kit from Patti! She always sends us so much stuff!! This time she sent...the image, dsp (3 different kinds) and ribbon. I thought this image would be perfect for the Mojo Monday sketch. I just had to flip it!

I coloured the House Mouse image with copics and used my gelly roll pen to add some glitter on the top of the cupcake. I tried to take a close up shot, but really i need a new camera! ug

h!! That is my next purchase for sure!! Thanks to Karen and Dana i will be getting a great camera!

I decided to use all the papers on this one and lots of layers. I really don't like Orchid Opulence, but i used it because it was in

one of the papers.

I cut them out with nesties and used the SU set On your Birthday for the sentiment. I finished it off with some CTMH sparkles on the top and a piece of ribbon on the bottom.

Hope you are having a great Saturday! I am working all weekend:( BOO HOO!! I spent all night last night cleaning/organizing my craft area!! UGH!! I feel so much better though:) I even cleaned off my computer desk!! Phew!! Tonight i am going out with the girls! My friend Crystal is here from Red Deer AB, so we are going to go have some cocktails and catch up!!!
